Our room was good sized with an excellent breakfast. The location seemed favourable to the Christchurch area. Had nice dainties at The Philippines Bakery, located steps away from the hotel

the attic twin room room was included with the best pillow and a lovely freestanding bath, for instance.
The bed of mine was too high.

I had delicious and large breakfasts with the best eggs, mushrooms, a lovely view of a large. The location was absolutely perfect as for me, so close to shops and food outlets, and a dedicated cycle path. It also was to a grocery store. I did not want to leave, so do recommend this hotel.

This boutique bed and breakfast is perfectly located for exploring the city, with good restaurants and even a movie theatre within walking distance. The rooms are cozy, immaculate, and tastefully decorated with spacious bathrooms and luxurious toiletries. Breakfast is a highlight, with a full menu of delicious options cooked to perfection.
It would be even better if there were more facilities available, such as a pool or fitness centre.

The Lilac Rose is nestled in a lovely suburban area, making it the perfect peaceful escape from the bustle of the city. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it offers a serene and relaxing environment for guests to unwind and recharge. The rooms, with their French windows opening up to the garden, provide a picturesque view and bring in plenty of natural light, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The private bathrooms are well-appointed, offering all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. And let's not forget about the breakfast! The hotel serves a delicious spread, including the best eggs benedict I have ever tasted, ensuring a fantastic start to the day.
All was flawless, no complaints.

We recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast in a peaceful suburban area. The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We were impressed by the attention to detail in the rooms, with comfortable beds and a large separate bathroom with a luxurious tub in our en suite. The staff provided excellent service, making us feel welcomed and pampered from start to finish. And let's not forget the breakfast - the eggs benedict were simply the best we've ever had! The included cereal and superb continental spread added to the overall value for money.
All was perfect, nothing to improve.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy B&B. The bed was super comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The house and garden were lovely, adding to the overall charm of the place. The location couldn't have been better, with easy and quick access to the city center, university, and a variety of restaurants. We also enjoyed the full cooked breakfast, which was absolutely fantastic!
The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom or lounge. While the hosts were always accommodating and would make us tea or coffee when asked, it would have been nice to be able to make it ourselves.

Nothing for me.

Loved the personalized and friendly atmosphere of the bed and breakfast. the breakfast was delicious and the information provided about local activities was helpful and led to some great experiences. the location was convenient for accessing nearby restaurants and shops.
There was a lack of organization upon arrival which made the initial experience confusing. the room lacked some necessary amenities and housekeeping services were inconsistent.
